Supporting Social-Emotional Practices & Effective Interactions: The Calming Kit
If we recognize that, “The children who need love the most will always ask for it in the most unloving ways”, then how to help them to manage emotions and impulse at that early age in more cultural and appropriate ways? This workshop session is intentionally designed to connect important social-emotional skills with effective strategies, reviewing how to use the components of The Calming Kit along with creative ideas and strategies to embed those into daily practices helping teachers and families to support children managing feelings and learning calm down strategies.
